As a hunting guide and outfitter based out of the state of California, I saw the transition from lead to non-lead/lead-free. As the lead ban was implemented, I, along with other fellow guides, actually noticed a reduction in wounding, especially on wild boar. As an avid loader, I would work up different lead projectile loads for out of state and would pay close attention to different aspects of how a bullet would kill an animal. The conclusion boiled down to there being a gap in performance between different projectiles made up of a mix of materials. With my background of being raised in an outdoor family, along with a family business of machining, I started the journey of creating a hunting bullet that was not limited to ranges on the short- or long-range side. After years of testing and hundreds of animals accounted for, ranging from coyotes to bull elk, and everything in between, we have developed a bullet that is fast expanding and made of materials that will not disintegrate into dust or fine particles. Whether your impact is on heavy bone at close range, or soft tissue at extended ranges, our Copper Rose bullet expands fast and drives deep to ensure you have the best chance at extremely quick and humane take on game. Regardless if it is a bull elk at 50 yards in the black timber or a pronghorn on the prairie at range, this bullet will perform.
